What to wear to interview???

I am currently looking for jobs. I was dreading the idea of going shopping for an interview outfit. I did some research on the internet and set myself a mission to go to Next and buy the entire outfit there. One stop shop. It didn't matter how much time I spent or how many outfits I tried, the mission was loud and clear - don't walk out the shop until you found your outfit.


I had a list of useful tips in my head:
- Don't go for a black outfit - too serious
- Buy trousers instead of skirt - I was going to travel on public transports to get to interviews, so trousers are practical and comfortable. 
- Wear smart t-shirt under the suit jacket - Make this piece personal, so you show little bit of your personality. I was going to for something fun. 


I dragged my boyfriend to the shop with me on a Saturday and bought the entire outfit within an hour. I was very pleased with the result. And here's what I came out the shop with:
