What to wear to interview???

I am currently looking for jobs. I was dreading the idea of going shopping for an interview outfit. I did some research on the internet and set myself a mission to go to Next and buy the entire outfit there. One stop shop. It didn't matter how much time I spent or how many outfits I tried, the mission was loud and clear - don't walk out the shop until you found your outfit.


I had a list of useful tips in my head:
- Don't go for a black outfit - too serious
- Buy trousers instead of skirt - I was going to travel on public transports to get to interviews, so trousers are practical and comfortable. 
- Wear smart t-shirt under the suit jacket - Make this piece personal, so you show little bit of your personality. I was going to for something fun. 


I dragged my boyfriend to the shop with me on a Saturday and bought the entire outfit within an hour. I was very pleased with the result. And here's what I came out the shop with: 

Here's another affordable leather jacket. It's very similar to the All Saint one that I shared earlier. I think this is my favourite so far. This jacket is from Lakeland reduced from £259 to £129.50

I also found a very cool jacket on Amazon which I think looks more expensive than it's really.

Affordable Leather Jackets

After a quick browse on the web, I found a leather jacket that is much more affordable. It is by Kenneth Cole. It is sold for £95 on House of Fraser's website. Click here to view. It does say there are only 2 left in the stock.

I think this jacket deserves a 5 star for the look and  its price.

I am very into leather jackets, I think that they complete the look for jeans, skirts, leggins and even a silky going out dress. One thing that is good to keep in mind, the leather needs to look expensive so keeping simple, and making sure it's fitted is the key.

I think every women should have one in black and one in brown in their wardrobe. Leather jackets last a very long time and they look better as they are worn for that reason, any money spent on a good leather jacket is not a waste.

This is a very good example of a nice leather jacket that will make you look million dollars in style.

This jacket is from All Saints website. It's current price is £350. It comes in this colour (Doe) only. I personally can't afford this but will be looking for something similar with a more affordable price. I will let you know. Or maybe if you come accross to one you could leave me a message here :) 

All Saints Cancity Dress

I love this dress. It is perfect for coctail hour or a fancy dinner. I would wear this dress with black high heel sandals and black leather jacket to give it a little edge. It's figure hugging but yet stylish and cool.

Next time I'm in town, I think I will try this dress on. It's on the pricey side at £195 from All Saints website. It comes in two colours; Ochre and Chalk. It is dry clean only. click here
